class information

The Australian Irish Dance Company Ballarat (AIDCB) has been running Irish Dance classes in Ballarat for over 16 years. The school is run by Emily French and Jeremy Evans who also perform with The Australian Irish Dance Company in Melbourne.

Classes offer a wide skill level from beginner to advanced and cater to all age groups. Classes are fun and friendly and help to improve self discipline, coordination, fitness and also develop and nurture a passion for dance.

The school teaches various forms of Irish Dancing from traditional through to contemporary styles such as those seen in shows like Riverdance.

As your skill and confidence develops the school offers many opportunities to showcase what you have learned in concerts and performances around the Ballarat area. For the last 3 years the school has performed in the Royal South Street Competitions and for the last 11 years they have performed as part of the Begonia Festival. The school also has an annual concert where all students can showcase all of their hard work in front of their friends and families.
